I along with Venu were there at parishath at 9:30am, Sonia was the first to come.  I happen to meet Mr. Basuka, allumanai of J J School of Art,  he was happy to show some of his work to us.  Even others joined us and admired the artists work.  He had done some intricate tiny flowers using colour papers.

Most of them had come, couple of them missed todays class.  As usual we started with a drawing session.  Each one explored the premises of CKP and came up with different subjects, some used the temple, rocks, some with trees and few of them explored the pillars and stairs.

Later he demonstrated how to draw a tree, lot of inputs were given to the participants, their were watching him painting carefully so that they could imitate the same.  I was also telling them to observe his style  of painting, handling the brush and maintaining the pallet.  Finally when the work was done most of them were anxious to paint.  Immediatedly they all started to paint different tree.  Most of them selected the same tree which Venu had worked, so that they could see his work and imitate it.

After seeing todays works one can expect a good result from these people.  The fear of applying colour had gone and  can see them working with more confidence in future classes.
