The days session was divided in sections, we were to teach them how to use Charcoal Pencil, Charcoal Crayon and Compressed Charcoal.  We began with the  Pencil, which was hard to use.  Our instruction taught them step by step to use the pencil with some basic techniques of how to draw leaves, rocks and trees which was around them.   Each one began their work practicing the techniques taught.  After tea at 11:15 a detailed demo was done which brought all the participants a confidence to work.  Each one explored with various forms, some sketched trees, some rocks and some also included humans in their drawings.
