Study of Clouds, class 3 at Lalbagh

1st November 2011

Class  No. 3 of Art of Water Colour was scheduled at Lalbagh on 30th October, but due to bad weather the class was cancelled and postponed for   November 1st which was  a general holiday.

The weather was bit cloudy, and  awesome to paint. Venu had come early by 09:40.  I joined him and was waiting at the gate  for other to come.  Slowly one by one joined and I told Venu to go inside and start the work.  As usual there were told to sketch.  Venu looked in there sketch and gave them correction.

Later when everybody were present  he painted a view of Kempegowda tower with sky.  All participants were showed how to treat sky and rock.  Everybody watched Venu while rain used to play hide and seek.  We all were worried it might rain, but clouds moved ahead without a single drop of rain.  Finally work was finished and everybody started clicking a picture through their cell phones.

It was 12:15 and sun started to shine and was too hot to work, some of them  used their scarfs, caps and hats to cover and started their painting session.

After seeing todays works one can expect a good result from these people.  The fear of applying colour had gone and  can see them working with more confidence in future classes.
